The Houston Junior Forum will present a conversation with Scott McClelland, community Leader and President of H-E-B Houston at its annual fundraising luncheon, Conversations from the Heart. McClelland is the 2019 chairman of the Greater Houston Partnership. He will be interviewed by Ernie Manouse of Downton Abbey fame.
At this year’s luncheon the Houston Junior Forum will be honoring longtime member Cooky Maddox Mays for her dedication to its organization and service to her community. A member since 1981, Ms. Mays served as HJF president in 1992 and held various leadership positions. She continues to serve on the HJF Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Mays has also held senior development positions with several Houston organizations. Through her work in the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Ms. Mays has provided pro-bono and event consulting for several Houston area non-profits.
