For two weekends in April, Houston's International Festival, iFest, will transform the streets of downtown into a vibrant Caribbean paradise. Featuring food, art and music from the featured Caribbean zone plus other global destinations.

Performers cover the spectrum from Reggae, Zydeco, Afropop, and Americana music to Cajun, rock, Jazz and gospel. Think acts like funk pioneer George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Latin legend Eddie Palmieri, Latin ska/hip-hop band Ozomatli, and Nigerian superstar King Sunny Ade.

Ticket are available online here and at H-E-B locations—they are $12 if purchased by April 12 and $17 on the day of the events. Plus, kids under twelve are free on Sundays (courtesy of Target).
