Houston House Plant Group is a Facebook group for all plant lovers that has grown to more than 8,000 members in just two years. The group is celebrating this milestone by hosting their first Plant Swap n Shop.
The plant industry saw enormous growth as people turned their attention towards therapeutic hobbies they could enjoy from home. This Facebook group provides a space for plant lovers to learn, share, sell plants, swap plants and meet other plant hobbyists. The group will be hosting this event to bring the plant community together in real life, to meet, greet, swap n shop.
The event features a great list of vendors ranging from brick and mortar shops, small businesses, local artists and growers. There will be door prizes and giveaways throughout the event. Items will range from common house plants $5-50 and rare collectors plants anywhere from $100 to possibly $5,000. Handmade items include terrariums, macrame hangers, moss poles, custom pots, plant art, stones, candles, wire signs, handmade jewelry, and more.
