Enjoy an afternoon concert featuring stirring orchestral works from Russian master composers. The Houston Heights Orchestra performs the high-spirited Festive Overture by Shostakovich, the musical fairy tale Peter and the Wolf by Prokofiev and the lively Capriccio Espagnol by Rimsky-Korsakov.
Peter and the Wolf will be narrated by St. John Flynn from Houston Public Media. Young audience members will also be invited to see and handle selected instruments up close in an instrument petting zoo.
