Sample the Latin flavors of the Americas and Spain as the orchestra celebrates composers of Argentina, Mexico and Spain. Opening the concert is Arturo Márquez's beautiful and passionate Danzon No. 2, followed by guest classical guitarist Samuel Perez performing Manuel Maria Ponce's Concierto del Sur. No Latin program is complete without a little Manuel de Falla, so the program closes with suites from his ballet El Sombrero de Tres Pico.
