The Houston Heights Association will provide a rare opportunity to look inside some of the unique homes that reflect the rich architectural tradition of the historical area.The homes will be decorated for the holidays, with the ground floors of many them open to visitors.

For a holiday experience, the entire 1300 block of Cortlandt will be closed to vehicles so open house participants can casually stroll among the homes while enjoying classic holiday entertainment provided by musicians and carolers. To join the old with the new, food trucks, one of the newest Heights traditions, will provide their specialty food and refreshments, while another new Heights tradition, pedicabs, will be available to provide transportation to and from the parking area, which will be established at Reagan High School, 413 E 13th St.
