At the 14th annual Houston Heights Association Bicycle Rally & Scavenger Hunt on October 5, starting and finishing in Marmion Park, riders of all ages can select from a three-mile or 15-mile ride. Participants will ride through the Heights looking for and solving clues along the way as well as making stops and collecting rally stamps from local merchants who are part of the Houston Heights Association. Various prizes will be awarded to the most successful riders.

The new Bikes, Bites and Beer Kick-Off party on October 4 at Eureka Heights Brewing Company will be an evening of games, pub food, Eureka Heights beer, wine, cider and non-alcoholic beverages. Riders may pick up registration packets and earn the first stamp on their rally card at the Kick-Off party.

All funds raised will be earmarked for education initiatives in the Houston Heights community as well as maintenance and upkeep of the historic Houston Heights Fire Station, Marmion Park, Donovan Park and the Heights Boulevard esplanade, which are all free and open to the general public. These meticulously restored areas are also available to rent for special occasions.
