Houston Grand Opera’s award-winning community collaboration and education initiative, HGOco, presents The Velveteen Rabbit. The talented artists of HGOco’s touring Opera to Go! program will perform this beloved tale of friendship.
Based on the cherished tale by Margery Williams, with music by Mary Carol Warwick and a libretto by Kate Pogue, The Velveteen Rabbit is the story of an enduring bond between a child and his favorite toy. The high-energy performances are 45-minutes in length, sung in English and designed for families with children of all ages.
