Director David Pountrey recreates Mieczyslaw Weinberg's The Passenger, a dramatic story based on haunting World War II memories as told by Aushwitz survivor Zofia Posmysz in the 1959 play titled The Passenger from Cabin 45.

While traveling to a new post with her German diplomat husband, Lisa is shocked by the sight of another woman passenger. She is haunted because the passenger resembles Martha, one of the inmates Lisa tormented when she was an SS overseer at Auschwitz. Action intensifies as audiences are taken from the calm setting of a luxurious liner's deck to the bowels of a death camp where torture, helplessness and courage come to take control of the characters.
