Impetuous love, the romance of Paris and the pain of regret unfold in one of the world's greatest love stories. Poet Rodolfo, played by Scott Quinn, and Mimì, played by Natalya Romaniw, meet by chance in his atelier and fall immediately in love. They weather break-ups and inevitable reunions, but their love proves as fragile as the light of a single candle when they confront the realities of bohemian life.
Directed by Susan Li, based on Houston Grand Opera's new production by John Caird. Conductor Eric Melear leads the cast, Houston Grand Opera Orchestra and the Houston Grand Opera Chorus.
