Courtside, an opera by Jack Perla with libretto by Eugenie Chan, follows the cross-cultural and multigenerational story of immigration and assimilation, on and off the basketball court. As part of "Song of Houston," Courtside is the first of many chamber operas through "East + West," a four-year program that celebrates Houston's multicultural make-up.
