The Artemis Quartet consists of Natalia Prishepenko and Gregor Sigl on violin, Friedemann Weigle on viola and cellist Eckart Runge, who between them have trained with The Emerson, Juilliard, Walter Levin and Alban Berg quartets and won first prize at the ARD and Borciani competitions.

Presented by Houston Friends of Chamber Music, Artemis will be performing an all-Beethoven repertoire at Stude Hall in Rice University's Shepherd School of Music on March 9.
