Houston Friends of Chamber Music
The Prazák Quartet has gained attention for its place in the unique Czech quartet tradition. The group formed at the Prague Conservatory in 1972 and quickly secured top prizes from the prestigious Evian and Prague International competitions. The quartet performs regularly on major stages throughout Europe, North America, Japan, and Australia earning critical acclaim for technical mastery and expressive lyricism.
