Houston Friends of Chamber Music presents the Miró Quartet

With its "explosive vigor and finesse," the Austin-based Miró Quartet is widely recognized as one of the country's top chamber groups. Captivating audiences with fresh perspectives and creative approaches, the quartet excels at new interpretations of the classics, as well as showcasing stirring contemporary pieces.

The evening's program combines two legendary masterpieces with a contemporary work. On the program are Schubert's Quartettsatz, Philip Glass' String Quartet No. 5 and Beethoven String Quartet in F Major, Op. 59, No.1 "Razumovsky."
