Emerson String Quartet
Time Magazine calls the Emerson String Quartet "America's greatest." The group consists of violinists Eugene Drucker and Philip Setzer, who alternate in the first chair position, joined by violist Lawrence Dutton and cellist David Finckel. The group was formed in the bicentennial year of the United States and took its name from the great American poet and philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson.
