Ready for the Oscars, but don't feel like waiting? No problem, the Houston Film Critics Society: Best of 2010 Film Awards comes to the rescue. The program includes numerous film clips and montages of nominated movies and the year's best screen performances.The HFCS also presents its annual Lifetime Achievement Award to Sissy Spacek and Humanitarian Award to George Clooney. Join society members afterwards for a reception in the museum galleries. Formed in 2007 from members of print and electronic entertainment associated with media outlets in Houston and the south coastal Texas area, the HFCS members weigh in with their own nominations and ballots to determine their awards.
