Houston Early Music presents Ensemble Caprice's performance of "Music of Paradise and Hell"

Montreal-based Ensemble Caprice, under the artistic direction of Matthias Maute and Sophie Larivière, returns to Houston to perform a selection of 17th century works by greats like Andrea Falconieri, Francesco Turini, Marco Uccellini, Francesco Corbetta and Johann Heinrich Schmelzer using period instruments at Christ the King Lutheran Church on March 5.

The performance is presented in conjunction with the Society of Seventeenth-Century Music's annual conference at Rice University's Shepherd School of Music.
