Luxury designer showrooms will open their doors to the public and offer discounts on floor samples, furniture, rugs and accessories for the home and office. Participating showrooms include: Bunch & Shoemaker, Charles Ray & Associates, Charlotte Nail Antiques, Design House, Inc., Ken Kehoe & Co., Kitchen & Bath Concepts, Lighting Treasures, Osborne Cabinets & Millwork, Postmodern Traditions, Pride of Persia Rug Co., Randall Edward Design, Scene One Interiors and Teri Pugh Studio.
The center will also hold lectures for the public:
Aug. 23, 9:30 a.m. - "Interior Design 101"
Debra Sabrsula will talk about the basics of working with the interior design trade, from hiring a designer to navigating designer showrooms. Sabrsula reveals what the public should know before taking on an interior design project. The lecture is held in the Kitchen & Bath Showroom #148.
Aug. 23, 11 a.m. - "What's New, What's Now, What's Next in Home Interiors"
Teri Pugh in the Teri Pugh Studio Showroom #156 will chat about the latest home design trends.
