Luxury designer showrooms open their doors to the public and offer attractive discounts on floor samples, furniture, rugs and accessories for the home and office. Participating showrooms include: Bunch & Shoemaker, Charles Ray & Associates, Charlotte Nail Antiques, Design House, Inc., Johnson Simon Resources, Ken Kehoe & Co., Lighting Treasures, Postmodern Traditions, Pride of Persia Rug Co. Scene One Interiors and Teri Pugh Studio.

The sample sale takes place Friday, Aug. 22, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 23, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Lectures open to the public include Attractive Living at any Age! with Design Network video star Mitzi Beach at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 22 and DESIGN 101: Benefits of Working with a Design Professional with designer Jessy Fuller at 11 a.m. on Aug. 22.
