Houston Symphony
The Houston Civic Symphony welcomes Wayne Brooks, principal violist of the Houston Symphony, as this concert's featured soloist. Brooks will perform the Viola Concerto in G major by Telemann and Trauermusik by Hindemith.
Music director Brian Runnels will conduct the program that also includes Wagner's Overture to Rienzi and Shostakovich's Symphony No. 9.
