Houston Cinema Arts Society’s 5th Annual Julydoscope – a free evening of dance, music and film — features rapper Nasir “Nas” Jones’ acclaimed 2014 film Shake the Dust and performances by several Houston-based dance companies selected by Dance Source Houston.
Festivities will begin at 7 pm with performances on the Anheuser-Busch Stage by high-energy multi-dance companies including Nritya Dance, City Dance and MET Dance. An outdoor screening of “Shake the Dust” will begin at 8:45 pm. DJ Dizzle of BOOM92 FM will serve as the master of ceremonies.
