Houston Cinema Arts Festival is devoted to films by and about artists in the visual, performing, and literary arts. The festival is a vibrant multimedia arts event that breaks out of the confines of the movie theater through live music and film performances, outdoor projections, and more.

The 2017 edition will feature 33 separate screenings and events, including notable films like Call Me By Your NameThree Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, and closing night film I, Tonya. Screenings and events will take place at multiple locations, including The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Rice Media Center, Aurora Picture Show, Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center, Buffalo Bayou Partnership, Diverseworks, Cafe Brasil, White Oak Music Hall, and Ipic Houston.

$12-$20 per screening; $99 for full festival pass.
