Houston Cinema Arts Festival 2016 will feature eight days of screenings and other events, including opening night film Honky Tonk Heaven: Legend of the Broken Spoke, followed by a live performance by Dale Watson.
Other screenings will include Jackie with Natalie Portman; a Billy Woodberry retrospective, including a screening of his new film And When I Die, I Won’t Stay Dead; Provenance with Amie Siegel; MA with Celia Rowlson-Hall; Cinema Novo with Eryk Rocha; Happy Lucky Golden Tofu Panda Dragon Good Time Fun Fun Show with Slanty Eyed Mama; and an outdoor screening of Contemporary Color following a performance from local color guard groups.
