The Houston Children’s Chorus will celebrate 30 years of serving Houston through music making and educational outreach with the presentation of its annual Spring Concert. The Chorus brings together kids from all corners of the Greater Houston area including Bellaire, Sugar Land, Pearland, Katy, The Woodlands, and Kingwood. The inclusive group, which provides tuition scholarships for families who qualify, allows children from all walks of life to become a part of something meaningful and encourages them to thrive together.

The Spring Concert will feature 250 children from our Concert Choir, Preparatory Choir and students who participate in our Music in the Schools Program from Mark Twain Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary and Grissom Elementary. In celebration of our anniversary, we are also expecting special Chorus fans including local dignitaries and hundreds of Chorus alumni. Performance selections will include sacred and secular anthems, focusing on the uplifting themes of hope, encouragement, unity, and peace.
