The Houston Children’s Chorus will conclude its 27th season by presenting its annual Spring Concert. The concert will feature a multitude of sacred and secular works, highlighted by the premiere of “Ripple of Kindness” by Donna Butler Douglas, as well as performances of “Jubilate Deo” by William Krape (a work recently featured on NPR’s “With Heart and Voice”), a setting of Psalm 150 by Sir David Wilcocks, and “Benedicte” by Andrew Carter. All choirs of the Houston Children’s Chorus as well as singers from Burrus Elementary School, a member school of the Chorus’s “Music in the Schools” program, will perform, all conducted by Stephen Roddy, Founder and Director of the Chorus.
