The Chorus moves across town to the dramatically beautiful Chapel of the Villa de Matel Convent for “A Concert of Sacred Christmas Music.”  The Children’s Chorus will honor the season with a range of sacred Christmas music such as “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” “Angels We Have Heard On High,” “In The Bleak Midwinter,” and other traditional and contemporary carols.

The concert will also feature the magnificent pipe organ in the Chapel and will also be accompanied by a small orchestra. The Chapel is the central place of worship for the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, and this concert is a rare opportunity for Houstonians to enter this sacred place and witness the breathtaking acoustics provided by such a unique space.
