The celebration honors David Ashley White, director of the Moores School of Music at University of Houston, for his dedication and commitment to the Houston Chamber Choir. The event will showcase the musicians of the choir and celebrate a successful season that marked the international release of a second commercial recording, Psalmi ad Vesperas (1694), an invitation to perform at the American Choral Directors Association National Conference in Dallas for more than 4,000 attendees from around the world and the launch of an in-school residency program at The Rusk School funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.
"A Bohemian Rhapsody" includes silent and live auctions, wine, dinner and musical entertainment throughout the evening.
