Bill Armstrong: Buddha and Mandala depicts luminous images of the artist's interpretation of Mandalas. Nodding to certain themes in the Buddhist religion, Armstrong alters the depiction of the cosmos and life through his use of abstraction and alteration. Through the use of his technique and the pulse of color, the artist allows the viewer a chance to meditate on these spiritually centered photographs upon viewing.

The exhibition kicks off with an opening reception on Feb. 27, 5:30-8 p.m., and includes a lecture titled "Thinking in Color" on Feb. 28, 6 p.m., and two workshops on March 1 at 11 a.m. and at 3 p.m.
