The Houston Caribbean Queen Pageant welcomes representatives from US Virgin Islands, Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, Dominica, Guyana, Panama, Belize and Jamaica. The contestants will be vying for the title of Miss 2016 Houston Caribbean as well as the Queen of the Carnival Houston Parade.

The pageant is one the main attractions in Houston's Memorial Weekend festival called Carnival Houston. Carnival Houston is an event that celebrates and seeks to make Houstonians aware of various international cultures. The pageant show will feature live music, cultural performances and the opportunity to sample authentic Caribbean foods.
