Houston Camerata presents Verdi's Requiem

Houston Camerata will perform Requiem by Giuseppe Verdi. Normally performed by a full orchestra and large chorus, this unique, free, performance will be presented by 34 singers, four soloists plus organ, trumpets and percussion for a more intimate, yet powerful, rendition of this moving work.

The soloists will include Cassandra Black, soprano; Alissa Anderson, contralto; Angelo Ferrari, tenor; and Benjamin LeClair, bass. Dr. Jeong-Suk Bae will be featured on the pipe organ, Kevin Shannon and David Clemmer will be on trumpet, Luke Hubley and Craig Hauschildt on percussion, and Paulo Gomes, conductor.
