Houston Botanic Garden presents Festival en el Jardin

Multicultural Education and Counseling through the Arts (MECA) and the Houston Botanic Garden will present Festival en el Jardin in prepartation for Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). The event will celebrate the past and honoring the future through music, dance, and visual arts.

Guests can create their own altar and make paper marigolds; shop with vendors selling authentic Latin American arts & crafts; and enjoy performances by the Ermelinda Cuellar Jazz Trio, MECA’s Ballet Folklorico, and Mariachi Monarcas.
