Houston Baroque presents Music of Telemann

Houston Baroque's third season carries on with its fourth installment of Landmarks: Music of Telemann. A Hamburg contemporary of J.S. Bach, Georg Philipp Telemann is rarely performed in Houston. This program features sacred cantatas as well as fabulous Paris Quartets and solo organ works. Vocal duets by Carissimi and Couperin will also be performed to showcase Telemann's Italian and French influences.
