In Wortham's Cullen Theater, Houston Ballet's second company will perform their Spring Showcase including pieces from The Sleeping Beauty, The Long and Winding Road and Calling. All proceeds benefit the Houston Ballet Academy. Several Houston Ballet II artists who won awards at the prestigious Prix de Lausanne ballet competition will perform. Emanuel Amuchastegui is the first student in Houston Ballet history to win the top prize.
