The Houston Astros open up their 45th anniversary season with one of the best pitching matchups you'll see all season. It's the Astros' Roy Oswalt vs. the San Francisco Giants' Tim Lincecum. The two-time reigning National League Cy Young Award winner, Lincecum is largely considered the best pitcher in the NL and Oswalt is still the best the Astros have. Unlike Houston, San Francisco is expected to be a serious playoff contender this season.
Opening day street festivities will start at 11:30 a.m., with the game's first pitch set for 6:05.
