This eclectic exhibition brings together sculptures, paintings, drawings and installations that could be viewed on a trip through Texas, traveling west on I-10. Works range from technical and studied to intuitive and raw, yet share commonality in makers whom have either studied or lived in Houston at one time or another. Two of the artists are based in Houston, while the others return from Abilene, San Antonio and San Marcos with unique bodies of work — all of which have never been viewed in the same environment.
Artists featured include Vachu Chilakamarri, Meredith "Butch" Jack, Kenny Lantz, Steve Neves, Katie Pell and George Zupp.
On view through Aug. 29.
