Houston Archeological Society Talk: "Paleo, Ancestral Puebloan and Historic Sites in the American Southwest" with Craig Mayer

Craig Mayer, an anthropologist/archeologist from Austin, will present the program at meeting of the Houston Archeological Society. Mayer's talk will explore Paleo, Ancestral Puebloan and historic sites in New Mexico, Utah and Colorado. The talk will explore sites including Blackwater Draw, Chaco Canyon, Hovenweep, Aztec, Inscription Rock, Chimney Rock and the Butterfield Overland Mail Site. Reviewing and discussing the cultures that have inhabited and influenced the present day cultures of the region will be the focus of the presentation.
