Houston Archeological Society lecture: "Honor and Legacy of the Buffalo Soldiers 1866 - 1944"

Paul J. Matthews, founder and chairman of the Board of the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum in Houston, will be the speaker for the meeting of the Houston Archeological Society. The program will open with a 14-minute video titled The African American Military Experience.

Matthews has been researching military history and collecting military artifacts and memorabilia for more than 30 years prior to founding of the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum. 

The event will be held in the MD Anderson Hall.
