On any summer evening, you may be able to look up at the twilight sky and spot the tiny fluttering bats overhead picking insects out of midair.
In this nighttime event, the Houston Arboretum will present a classroom presentation about bats by Dr. Cullen Geiselman where she will give a summary of the world’s bat species, their habitats, and life histories.
Next you’ll head out into the night for a "bat walk" on the moonlit trails to spotlight and detect the local bat species using an ultrasonic bat detector.
