Set to all live music, Village of Waltz is a dance and performance piece examining time and community, reflecting what choreographer Jane Weiner wishes life could be. A life where, "everybody is accepted at a gut level. We all have to make compromises to get along, but that doesn't mean we have to change who we are inside, what we believe in and our goals and aspirations,” Weiner explains. The piece includes collaborations from composer and musician Peter Jones, vocalist Ana Trevino-Godfrey of Mercury Baroque and lighting designer Roma Flowers.
