The Holocaust Museum Houston Guild joins the River Oaks Chamber Orchestra to present an evening of music and discussion regarding the failed attempts to repress the creative spirit of Jewish artists during the era of Nazi Germany. The event includes a discussion about the work of degenerate artists in the areas of art, theater, film, fashion and music.

The ROCO Wind Trio will perform several selections from some of these composers such as Schulhoff's Trio, Tansman's Suite for Wind Trio and Mozart's Suite d'après Corrette.

The evening begins with an opening reception starting at 5:30 p.m. followed by a discussion led by Gus Kopriva and Irene Guenther. Kopriva will display and present a few pieces from his personal collection of German degenerative art while Guenther will lead an interactive discussion with the audience.

Starting at 6:30 p.m., the ROCO Wind Trio — ROCO artistic director Alecia Lawyer (oboe), Maiko Sasaki (clarinet) and Daniel Chrisman (bassoon) — will perform.
