Get a head start on holiday shopping and some great discounts with the American Cancer Society Holiday Shopping Card. Enjoy an 11-day shopping “spree” and save 20 percent at more than 750 shops and restaurants in Houston Oct. 28 through Nov. 7. The card costs $70, with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. The card is sponsored by VICTORY, an all-volunteer branch of the American Cancer Society, whose mission is to raise funds for cancer research, education, advocacy and patient services.

This is one of several kick-off events to launch this season's edition of the holiday shopping card. All kick-off events are free and open to the public.
