American composers including Copland, Joplin and Gershwin come to life in the third classical concert event in the Houston New Arts Movement World Journeys season. Founder and pianist Adam Vincent Clay will present diverse music from our country since its beginnings, in celebration of the month of our independence.
HNAM founder and pianist Adam Vincent Clay will be available after the concert to visit with guests. At each concert HNAM hosts a guest artist who exhibits works related to the culture being featured, and provides culinary tastes of the featured culture for guests at the post-concert artist reception.
True to HNAM’s mission of integrating the arts in its unique themed concerts, in addition to the classical music and art of America, American poetry accompanies this concert. HNAM continues its outreach mission making complimentary tickets available to nonprofit organizations or others who may otherwise be unable financially to attend.
