HITS Theatre presents Women and Wallace

eventdetail

Women and Wallace by Jonathan Marc Sherman is an engaging story of a young man's struggle with identity after losing his mother to suicide. The play follows Wallace's relationships with women over the course of his growing up and how fears of abandonment manifest inside each.

The cast is made up entirely of seventh- through 12th-grade performers from throughout Houston who bring to life the story of loss, self-discovery and, ultimately, hope.

HITS Theatre is partnering with mental health professionals from Mental Health and Mental Retardation Authority of Harris County (MHMRA), Legacy Community Health Services and Baylor College of Medicine to shed light on childhood trauma and its effects in a series of interactive post-show discussions with audience, cast and crew.
