Take an hour off and escape into Houston’s history while grabbing a bite to eat at the Hill/Finger Lecture Series.
Bryan McAuley will include a to-the-minute update on the current stabilization and exterior preservation plan for the historic Levi Jordan plantation house. He will also give an overview of the efforts to develop programming for this evolving site and touch upon the current state of archeological analysis of the Quarters area, archeology under the plantation house and design-phase planning for a visitors’ center.
Guests wanting to reserve a box lunch for this lecture should contact Elizabeth Martin by 11 a.m. on July 20.
