The luncheon will feature student performances as well as remarks by HSPVA's 2013 Distinguished Alumnus, Matt Mullenweg, founder of WordPress and Automattic. Mullenweg has been recognized for his leadership and success by BusinessInsider, Businessweek, PC World and Vanity Fair. The Encore for Excellence Luncheon enhances opportunities for HSPVA's student artists by providing funding for HSPVA's creative writing, dance, instrumental music, theater, visual arts and vocal music programs, granting college and summer program scholarships and collaborating with renowned arts organizations.
