As part of the long-awaited return of Houston’s iconic No-Tsu-Oh celebration, The Heritage Society is hosting a Pet Fest & Parade. The event is on Halloween weekend, so guests can dress their best friends up in costume or put them in a fancy wagon or decorated stroller for a chance to win prizes and enjoy some festivities.
The highlight of the event will be a costumed parade of pets and owners with judges awarding prizes, including a $350 pet photography sitting from Jill Garrett, pet treat baskets from Natural Pawz and Chew on This, a gift certificate for services at Mercy Pet Clinic and Rummy’s Beach Club. Multiple pet adoption and rescue services including the Harris County Mobile Adoption Van will be on site including some with dogs who are ready to be adopted on the spot. Other rescues will have animals that may be fostered or adopted after application processing.
