The Heritage Society is hosting a public concert, providing a chance to enjoy a large jazz band in an idyllic outdoor park setting. Some seating will be provided, or attendees may bring their own folding chairs.
Performing will be the South Texas Jazz Big Band directed by Dr. Woody Witt. The orchestra, with approximately 20 pieces, has members who are affiliated with both Houston Community College and the University of Houston.
The concert is being dedicated to Milt Feder, a lover of jazz who passed away recently. Milt’s friends and family know that he would appreciate sharing great music with his fellow Houstonians.
