With a mission to inspire kids to have a lifelong love of music, the 4th Annual Heights Kids' Day of Music focuses on introducing attendees to a wide range of Houston musicians and arts organizations.
The crescendo family music Main Stage will have local favorites The Zydeco Dots, kids hip-hop artist Jace Blain, gospel choir Brian Dunlap & Total Praise, and Astros-loving Polish Pete & the Polka? I Hardly Know Her Band.
Performances on the Caorline Schlemmer Second Stage and Creative Zone Live Stage highlight local arts groups. The Creative Zone showcases 25 different organizations focused on bringing arts to our City and includes groups such as Young Audiences of Houston, Houston Grand Opera, Ars Lyrica, echo orchestra, The Ensemble Theatre, and more.
Attendees can get a hands-on look at band and orchestra instruments at the H&H Music Instrument Petting Zoo and the Opera in The Heights Singing Station showcases the different singing voices. Food will be available for purchase.
