The year 2014 marks 70 years of Heifer International's impact in more than 125 countries and through 20.7 million families. Heifer in Houston will be celebrating this milestone with a day at the Houston Arboretum. Activities will include scavenger hunts through the forest, inspiring stories from Heifer's work around he world, a mini market of goods that are produced fairly and activities for adults and children based on Heifer's curricula. Guests will learn how they can support the mission to end global hunger and poverty.
All events are family friendly. Lunch will be provided.
