Artists across the globe are donating works of art for a fundraiser to support the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Local Houston artists Katherine Houston and Cookie Ashton, along with gallerists Laura Rathe of Laura Rathe Fine Art and Kathy Dimmitt of Dimmitt Contemporary Art, are spearheading the event.
The foursome will exhibit the donated works in a live auction and 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, established by Mayor Sylvester Turner and County Judge Ed Emmett.
